Mrs Crimble Honey Caramel Cake Coming Soon
This cake is naturally low in fat, and contains a delicious blend of honey and caramel to give it a unique taste and a lovely sticky texture. Unlike the other cakes in this range which have quite adult tastes, this is something that kids will love for tea. This cake can be enjoyed on its own but is really nice with the addition of non-dairy cream or custard. As the cake has a very low fat and moisture content this makes it suitable for freezing which many of our customers often tell us is fine. Whilst this cake is wheat free it is not gluten free as it is made with rye flour which, whilst very low in gluten when compared to normal wheat flour, is above the levels recommended by the Coeliac Society.
Ingredients: Glucose-fructose syrup, rye flour, sugar, water, honey (3%), raising agents: sodium hydrogen carbonate and sodium acid pyrophosphate, spices, colour: caramel, malt extract, flavourings. Cautions: contains: rye gluten, barley. Made in a factory handling nuts.
